As the world is constantly changing, the new strategy reflects KY's willingness to keep up with the change. As a result of this, the goal of the strategy process has been to bring the KY Community even closer to the heart of the new strategy. KY exists only for and because of our members and aims at being the most meaningful community for every Kylteri. While the mission in our strategy explains why KY exists, the vision of KY's strategy shows us direction towards the desired future.
Both the mission and the vision of KY are based on our three values: Community, Open-minded and Member-Driven. Furthermore, as the values should be both valuable and visible in all our actions, three more concrete KY Ways of Working have been created to ensure that this is the case. These three most important ways of working to trickle through the KY community are:
We would like to warmly thank everyone who contributed to the strategy update process!
Within its community as well as in relation to the outside world, KY has many stakeholders to interact and collaborate with. On this page, the most integral ones are introduced.
KY's Representative Council (RepCo) is the highest decision-making body of KY.
The highest power at KY is held by the Representative Council, which decides what KY does and looks like now and in the future. The meeting minutes can be found on the KY's Administration page.
The council consists of 21 members and 34 deputy members. The KY Representative Council elections are organized in the fall of each odd-numbered year. The candidates are ranked in order of the number of votes each of them received. The terms of each Representative Council start in December of each odd-numbered year and ends in December two years later, after the next RepCo has been elected.
KY's Honorary Delegation is an advisory body at KY.
The Honorary Delegation consists of people who hold KY close to their hearts and have often been KY actives during their years of study. Nowadays, Honorary Delegation members are making an impact in the business world.

Probba ry is the student organization of Aalto University School of Business, BScBa-programme in Mikkeli.
Probba is located in the center of Mikkeli and represents the Aalto University Mikkeli Campus and all its students. As home to only one program, the Probba community consists of only international business students. During the founding of the Mikkeli campus, the program was called a BBA program but was later changed to BScBA. The community is a tight bunch, as only around 80 new students start their studies in the program every year. The studies last for 3 years and include an exchange semester during the last year.
Despite the distance, Probba is near and dear to KY and proudly reps the dollar green overalls and the KY Ribbon! The members of KY and Probba get to mingle during multiple events every year, making our communities even closer with each other. Find out more from Probba's website.
