Applicants for the Former of the KY Executive Board

I’m Hector Björklund, a third-year finance student with an enthusiastic, empathetic and ambitious mindset. I’ve really enjoyed my time in KY – having spent time in various volunteer positions and as a member of the KY board in 2024 – and want to continue contributing to our wonderful community. As chair of the KY Board, I would focus on the following objectives: enabling our members, serving our members’ visions and using our resources effectively and sustainably. I believe that under my leadership, we can together cherish this community, reach our fullest potential and serve KY’s most important constituents – you.

I’m Jatta, a fifth-year management student with lots of love for KY. I have extensive experience from different kinds of associations under KY and have held multiple positions as a chair of a board. The most important thing to me as a chair is creating an encouraging and supportive atmosphere, while also allowing space to fail and grow from those experiences. My focus for 2025 would be in member-driven approach, transparency and continuing assessing the use of KY’s resources. My extensive experience in leading people has given me the ability, tools and experience to lead the KY board in 2025.
