This event is held in Finnish but international students are warmly welcomed!
Dark, stormy and cold. One might use these words when describing the Autumn and upcoming winter here in far North and that wouldn’t even be an exaggeration. When the days get shorter and the nights darker, you may start missing something that fills your days with joy and light. And sparkle!
Fortunately, your wishes have been heard, since KY’s Cultural Committee KUVA is happy to turn down the darkness in the most sparkling, luminous and exuberant way, which some of us know as Syksyn lauluilta. As soon as our guests enter through the doors of Saha, they will be surrounded by the shining atmosphere as well as joyful chit-chat. Above all, we wish to have you as one of our guests at this wonderful night.
It’s once again time to pull the most elegant black dresses and suits from your wardrobe, but this time you might want to add some sparkle to your outfit as well! The night will be full of KY’s traditional singing culture and glad conversations in great company– not to mention the delicious three-course dinner and classy refreshments. In order to keep up the glow throughout the night, the after party will be held at the very same location as the event itself.
The event is open for all KY members despite their year of studies and thereby offers a great opportunity for mursus to get to know KY’s singing culture. Furthermore, the event is part of Autumn’s KY Culture Month. Check the Facebook event here: https://www.facebook.com/events/169209110328315/
