KY Board gathered today to discuss the evolving Covid-19 situation in the Uusimaa region and how it affects KY’s functions and premises.

In Uusimaa, all indoor public events and public meetings are currently prohibited, regardless of the number of attendees. The covid passport cannot be introduced as an alternative to the restrictions. Most of the events in the KY community are categorized as public events, and cannot be held under these restrictions.

Until 31.1.2022, all KY premises will allow only 50% of the maximum capacity for private events: 80 people at Saha, 75 people at Metallimiehenkuja. Following a recent decision by the Finnish government, using the covid passport does not remove the restrictions.
