Application for the Editor-In-Chief of Kylteri is open!

Aalto University Business Students’ magazine Kylteri is looking for a new Editor-in-Chief. Kylteri is an independent student magazine published by the KY Foundation.

The Editor-in-Chief serves as the head of the magazine while representing the publication itself. Responsible for driving the strategic direction of the magazine, the Editor-in-Chief collaborates closely with the Art Director, the contributing writers and the sub-editor.

The Editor-in-Chief also determines the editorial guidelines and tone of voice for the Kylteri brand, ensuring that all content produced falls in line with this style.

Requirements for the position:

  • Innovative and creative bent of mind on Kylteri magazine’s future
  • Fluent communication and writing skills both in Finnish and English
  • Good interpersonal & leadership skills
  • Ability to work under stress and within deadlines
  • Knowledge of student culture and student life

Responsibilities of the Editor-in-Chief:

  • Directing and supporting the contributors in writing articles, photographing and illustrating
  • Evaluating content and making final decisions on appropriateness for the publication
  • Developing stories and content ideas by considering the audience appeal
  • Managing the magazine’s budget
  • Publishing two issues of Kylteri Magazine
